We all say it, “if I had the money I’d dress so cute”, at least I say it haha! It’s true, if I did have the money I’d have so many options to wear for fall. Since I am on a budget, I try to buy basic pieces and layer them up to create different outfits. I am the master of wearing the same basic items within the week and creating versatile looks without you realizing I already wore the same pants 3 days that week (story of my life haha!).
My curls and I have a love and hate relationship. I hate my hair in the summer, but I love it in the fall/winter. When you have curly hair, it screams for constant moisture (it’s so needy!) and if you don’t give it what it wants/needs, you won’t be happy with the outcome. In the summer, humidity is high and it causes curly hair to frizz. However, in the colder months, moisture is easily kept in our hair, at least for mines. I use the least amount of products in colder months and I mostly wear my hair out (wash-n-go). Now, let me show you my fall curly hair routine!
So this Fall is very special to me because it is the first time I am living on my own where I have total control of what decorations I have in my apartment. Seeing that I just moved and I don’t have any furniture, I didn’t want to spend too much money on Fall candles or decor. I did find a way to make my home feel like Fall with some affordable candles and some DIY Dollar Tree decor. It isn’t much, but it makes this place feel more like home…and fall (since I live in Florida)
I love purses. Ever since I was a little girl, I always carried a purse out and about. I love designer bags but unfortunately I don’t always have the funds for a high end designer bag. When you think about a Louis Vuitton, Givenchy or Chanel bags, they can easily be at least $1200 and up (high end designers). Even though one day I’d love to own a Louis Vuitton, I have purchased 4 Michael Kors handbags and wallets in the past 4 years that equaled to 1 bag carried by LV (the cheapest one to say). Compare $350 bag to $1200 bag, that’s not that bad at all!
Yes! It’s that time of year again and I am so excited for FALL. However, is it me, or do stores around this time overdue the whole pumpkin thing? I mean that’s cool for those who love pumpkin flavored everything, but I hate the taste of pumpkin. So, lately for breakfast, I have been making my famous (well not really, I think I only made these for myself) “anything but pumpkin” pancakes and lattes!
