Travel plans and Wanderlust (a strong desire to travel). I have Wanderlust tattooed on me and it’s finally time I bring it to life. I traveled a lot as a child, mostly in the U.S. Ever since then, I got a craving to see more. This world is huge and I want to see it all! 2017 is my year of traveling and many more to come. It’s time to knock the dust off my passport. No more hold backs. No more excuses. Plus, all my traveling will be budget friendly…because I am not rich haha. See where I will be traveling next year!

Amsterdam, The Netherlands
My first of travel plans in 2017 will start in the Netherlands, Amsterdam to be exact. Can I just say that tickets were under $380 for a round trip for 1 week?! Click here to see how you can snag the same deals on any travel plans you have next year. A good friend of mines since middle school is coming along with me on this epic trip to Amsterdam. I will be going to Amsterdam from May 1st-May 8th. Ahhhh! I’m so excited for this one, I just hope it isn’t raining 24/7!
I love when travel plans come at the last minute, so spontaneous! While in Amsterdam, my friend Dorothy and I decided to take the advantage to see other countries in the 8 days we are in The Netherlands. We’d figure we can see all we want of Amsterdam in about 3 days and use some of the other days to board the trains to other destinations! We will be taking the Thalys train from Amsterdam to the Central station to Paris (takes about 3hrs and 20 mins) We are not sure how long we will stay in Paris for but we plan to make the most out of the hours we will have!
With only an hour away from Amsterdam via train, I needed to add this to part of my 2017 travel plans! Plus, I really want to try authentic, Belgium chocolate! haha. This will most likely be a short day trip to the main inner city or tourist area.
New York, New York
It’s so funny because I been up and down this whole east coast but have never been to New York City. Just the skyscrapers alone has me adding this destination to my 2017 travel plans. This is going to be my 26th birthday trip! I have never done anything really huge for my birthday and my goal is to save up enough money to go all out (well not broke hehe). Plans on staying in a nice hotel in the city, maybe Manhattan are in effect! Visiting all the tourist locations is an impossible must haha and eating where the locals eat is only my list as well. I want to do it all (well except the whole “I love NY t shirt”). Well it’s pretty impossible in 3-4 days, but we will see!
My best friend and I have had this travel destination on out mind for the past year so it’s only right I add this to my 2017 travel plans! We plan to go in October of 2017! I am actually purchasing my best friend’s ticket for her birthday present, she deserves it! We wanted to go to a destination that would have colder weather and history. I am excited for the meat and potatoes! I am not a fan of Guinness beer but maybe there are some other local beers there as well! We plan to make this a 4-5 day trip!
Any Travel Plans?
Where are you guys headed to next year? I need more inspiration on what to add to my everlasting list of Wanderlust! Have you guys ever been to any of the places mentioned above? If so, where’s the best place to eat (budget friendly). Any cool museums? Great places to get a drink? Where is the best location to stay?! Let me know in the comments below!
