When you think of traveling, one thing you want to make sure is that you pack accordingly. Yes, you have your carry on tote/bag, your checked bag or, your carry on luggage. But, we forget the most important bag to pack…our day-pack! Think about it. Your carry on bag is not going to hold all the same items as your day-pack when you are touring around the city. It was hard to even find any posts on day-packs that were for touring cities so, today I am going to show you what I bring along with me in my day-pack when I walk and tour cities for about 8 hours a day!

The best Day-Pack
Ok, let’s get right into this post. I want to start off by saying that this is a collaboration with Mochi-Things. They have gifted me a couple of items for my upcoming European travels and I can’t wait to share them with you all!
When you are traveling a new city, most likely you will spend your days roaming about for 6-8 hours. Having the right day-pack and packing the right items could aid to making your discoveries even more enjoyable.
When it comes to a day-pack, the things I look for are:
- Padding/security to protect my belongings
- Water resistant
- Multiple pockets and space
- Comfortable back straps (preferably padded)
- Modern in Style
- Sleek design
- Quality made material
I plan on traveling a lot in the next few years so when it came to locating a quality day-pack that met all my standards, and was affordable (most quality day-packs with these features can cost up to $250), I found the perfect bag! The Travelus Day-Pack (in Pink) from MochiThings.
This day pack was on sale for $159 and you can find it here (and other colors!). There are so many compartments and even hidden compartments to keep your valuables safe.
What to pack in a Day-Pack
